Here is an update from our team visiting Cyprus and Malta:
.
"We had an amazing day here in Cyprus! An answer to all the prayers. We stopped by a luncheon at a local legacy church nearby our apartment. We met a Brazilian and a Congolese man who wanted to go share the gospel with us and follow up with a refugee from Nigeria. As we were walking, a Finish couple who were in Cyprus on vacation bumped into us. They had been at the church and they found out we were going sharing and asked if they could join us. He told us the Lord had given him a word that he should come to Cyprus not just for vacation but to make disciples so he had been looking for people at the church to go out sharing with him! We taught them the 3-circles and they eagerly put it into practice. We got to share with many Nepalese people celebrating a festival and had many other great convos with others at the harbor (same harbor the apostle Paul set sail from). The Finish couple was so eager and excited to spend their whole day learning from us and sharing with us. The woman from Finland said it was her first time sharing like this. Her first time sharing on her own, a shopkeeper started crying and shaking when he heard about God's love for him in Jesus. They asked if we could go out sharing again tomorrow. We are hoping and praying this could start new work in Finland too. Thank you Lord!!"

We are so encouraged by these stories. Please continue to pray for this team!
The Lord answered our prayers for the last trip our team made to Iceland by providing a person of peace. This week, they will be there again to cast vision to new contacts and provide training. Pray for many to catch the vision of multiplying disciples and obediently put into practice the tools and principles they learn!

A few disciples from Mauritius have been in Belgium to model some disciple-making tools for a family member. During this time, they have already seen 2 people come to faith and baptized over the weekend! Praise the Lord! Thankful for their willingness to GO!

What is a "Person of Peace?"

Here are a few identifying characteristics we find in scripture. Learn more about this in our discipleship training at hubs.la/Q01nGH4g0
This month's theme for prayer and fasting is pride and humility.
.
Pride. The enemy of, the opposite of humility. Pride is the root of much sin and it robs us of intimacy with the Lord and love of others. Scriptures have much to say about humility and pride. Perhaps this is because humility is so instrumental to our spiritual health as disciples of Jesus. Perhaps this is also because the Lord knew how much we can be prone to struggling with pride.
.
As practitioners of disciple making movement principles, we must be especially on guard against pride, both personally and organizationally. Our enemy is so crafty at knowing how to lead us into the trap of pride. In Jeremiah 9:23, we are instructed to not boast in our wisdom. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by such grace you have been saved through faith. This does not come from you; it is the gift of God and not the result of actions, to put a stop to all boasting.”
.
We must remain on guard to not let the tools we use, nor the principles we embrace and teach become idols. We must continue to ask the Lord to teach us and be eager to learn from others. Let’s remain vigilant to do all that we can to make healthy disciples and let God do what only He can. And then, let’s be sure to give Him the credit and praise He so rightly deserves and deflect any praise away from ourselves and to the Lord. Let us continually lay the Biglife flag down and raise up the banner of Jesus. hubs.la/Q01nPl7l0
